As a senior English Education major, I am currently student teaching with eleventh graders via Zoom, and am looking for a full time teaching position for the Fall (maybe over Zoom, but hopefully in person).We’re building community without the communal building. I have worked for three years as a Resident Assistant in a first year residence hall, and am currently working as a Remote RA, though my residents are no longer actually living in our residence hall.I presented about new teacher support programs (which I hope to participate in as a new teacher soon). I presented in the Future is Now session at the 2019 National Council of Teachers of English annual convention in Baltimore, Maryland.I was a 2018 UD Woman of Promise and a 2019 recipient of the Secondary Education Award for Educational Promise.
